NEW LEAF SALADS
New Leaf Salads is a small salad growing business based at my home in Wells. I have always loved growing, and this coincided with a new chapter in my life after 25 years of Montessori and Special needs teaching in London, Samoa and Somerset. After a month spent working with
Charles Dowding in his No Dig market garden, I set up my own organic salad growing business selling to local markets, pubs and restaurants in and close to Wells. As my greenhouse, polytunnel and large outside beds began to flourish, I realised that there was another dimension presenting itself, and I decided to initiate
New Leaf Learning to involve my love of teaching. I now have a dedicated team of adults with learning difficulties who are involved in every aspect of my salad business.
