The salad season is in full flow. We are selling at the Farmers' Market in Wells on a Wednesday with Sabina - the 'Olive Lady'! We also sell at the Good earth Wholefood Shop in Wells and, of course, at the Sheppey Pub in Godney.

We are picking and delivering twice a week. My Learners hand over the salad and invoices, and we count the money when we get home.

Even Islay loves the salad!

The strawberries & pumpkins are planted and doing well.

We also have potatoes, broad beans and cucumbers, all of which were chosen by my Learners as favourite vegetables to cook & eat.

Life in the polytunnel is hectic! In the small pond which we dug, we have 4 frogs, 3 newts, many snails and 2 goldfish.

Even though there is evidence of slugs in the outside beds, the frogs seem to be controlling the slugs in the polytunnel. Marvellous!
