The winter salad leaves have been the best ever! Strong peppery tatstes from the colourful leaves.
We made some delicious Green Tomato chutney and ketchup.
The garlic is now planted to grow over winter and be ready for late June.
Now there is less to do in the garden there is more time in the kitchen. Cheese scones were a great success!
We made a delicious lunch for one of our social workers. We picked the salad, made carrot and coriander soup followed by delicious Summer Pudding. Everyone was very proud.
The pumpkins grew really well and the soup was fantastic! We also made lanterns!
The salads are still growing in the polytunnel but the outside beds are now covered in light-excluding plastic to suppress the weeds.
